Volkswagen staged a spectacular show to present the XL1 plug-in hybrid to the international press at the Qatar Science & Technology Park. High-ranking guests such as Qatar’s royal family and members of the VW Supervisory and Management Boards made this side event a highlight of the Qatar motor show.

OUR TASK

KLEE developed the event concept and coordinated the entire equipment package, including lighting, sound, interpretation, filming, video and rigging.

MAIN CHALLENGES

  • To install a spidercam between 26-metre high support towers, including the process of obtaining approval from the Qatari authorities.
